Coates MEA launched a Food Drive initiative to harness the spirit of Ramadan of giving and compassion. The team distributed 100 delicious, home-cooked “Kindness Iftar Box” to workers, taxi drivers, and street cleaners in the final days of Ramadan, last month.

The team took turns in handing out the boxes, filled with chicken biryani, a yogurt dip, a samosa, pakora, mint dip, dates, fruit, a cupcake, juice and water, to workers in various parts of Dubai, over the course of three days.

Ramadan, a time of reflection, reminds us to show compassion and generosity, particularly to those in need. Honouring the underprivileged citizens of Dubai, who work night and day to help build the city, was a rewarding experience for the whole team.
